The Sudomirean Guard

These Soldiers which guard the lands of Sudomir, and serve the House of the Duke are collectively known as the Sudomirean Guard or simply the Guard. Though adjacent to the Order of the Ebon hand the members of the Guard are more pragmatic, and less held up by ceremony or the restrictions of chivalric honor. They are soldiers, pure and simple! Coming from all walks of life and respected by all for their service, those who make a lifelong commitment, to serve and even be called to return to duty after they "retire" have, learned how to defend their lands, and in more recent years how to wage war.
They have built watch towers and keeps to spot and keep the enemies of Sudomir at bay, and they travel throughout the lands to combat the enemies of Sudomir and protect it's peoples at every turn. Even on occasion invading or assisting other lands.
In recent history they have also turned more of their attention to the Undead Mistress Entropy, swearing to rid the land of the Cowled Wizards and Entropy's Undead minions as well.
The Guard is a grim group who believes there is no greater honor than to die protecting the realm from the enemy, any enemy. Honorable yet merciless, they fight to maintain the lands and protect to keep the people safe.

Costuming & Appearance:
In the field as well as in life The Guard tend dress in a very practical manner, Armor, appropriate seasonal gear, Armor and Tabard. Their Military uniform is a Black Tabard with the Gauntlet and Crown symbol in purple
