Friday Night: Ofermægen
Since the northern conflict began, the pathways leading from Sudomir into Aeldirmann have been flooded with Vaelish refugees. More recently, refugees from the Skypass tragedy have taken these paths to flee to safer territories. Sudomirian protection of these passages had previously been a steady expectation. But with rumors of a major troop deployment elsewhere, these pathways saw a reduction in protective forces. As if planned, Aeldirmann forces were repositioned along the northwest border to fill those gaps. Whether it was a precaution or a planned movement between allies is unknown, but these forces began to report skirmishes with Faithless Orcs that seemed to be trying to sneak around the mountain border looking for forgotten passageways through the peaks and into the valleys below the Scar and into Sudomir.
Following Duke Xavier’s Last Ride, the Faithless seemed to leave the Aeldirmanians mostly alone for a while, both out of a sort of respect for the Duke and his Riders’ fierce resistance, and because they were reeling from the losses inflicted by them. But these creatures of the darkness grow restless, itching for a fight… and where better to rekindle the ashes of war than with an already weakened Sudomir, that now fights wars on 3 fronts?
However, this unofficial armistice has benefited Aeldirmann too, allowing for the new Duchess to accept significantly more refugees from her troubled western neighbor. Standing in defense of Sudomir could risk not just the lives of those that go to strike down this threat, but also the lives of many of her innocent subjects that may fall victim to a renewed conflict with Threskmar.
But Rickshires do not back down from a fight, no self respecting Aeldirmanian would. And so, at the Duchess’ behest, the forces of Aeldirman will show the Faithless Orcs that being part of a Kingdom means protecting your allies when they are at their lowest, with haste and with overwhelming force. Sudomir requires aid in this fight, and Aeldirmann will answer.
(This dungeon will take place on Friday night of MetroCon 2026. This dungeon will involve heavy combat in low-light conditions, so players should bear this in mind.)

Saturday Night: Great Crusade
Kingdom Gazette Special Report
SUDOMIR TRIPLES DOWN! AUTOINVASION OF THE SOUTHERN SWAMPS
Reports from our Sudomir field office located in the city of Blackmoore indicate that the Sudomirian Guard, with transport from the Queen’s Navy, has conducted a multi-pronged amphibious landing on the southwestern shores of Sudomir, with the goal of establishing beachheads to take back the swamps from the Hag and her armies. This special operation marks the third front that Sudomir fights a war on, the other two being the stalled invasion of Vallenwood to recover Duke Ivan VI, and the ever-escalating civil war against the forces of the Pale Monster in the Scar.
According to an anonymous source within the Sudomirian Guard that did not have clearance to speak about this issue to the press, several landing zones encountered fierce undead resistance and suffered significant losses to initial landing forces, but were ultimately successful in clearing out the immediate surrounding areas and creating safe harbors for further reinforcements to land.
Public sentiment seems to be mixed, with some concerned that Count Ivanovich is spreading his forces too thin and putting the Duke’s people at risk, while others are proud to hear that Sudomir is taking the fight to the enemy and reclaiming the land that is rightfully theirs. Those that are concerned seem to have good reason to be, because with this special operation has come a noticeable reduction in peacekeeping and security forces throughout the Sudomirian interior even as refugees continue to flow through the countryside into safer cities and across the border to Aeldirmann.
When asked to comment, the Dragoslaav Barony released the following statement:
“The Barony of Dragoslaav and all its people rejoice at the news of this successful operation to take back our duchy’s land and restore its original beauty. The Right Honorable Baron Viktor Dragoslaav stands firm with his liege lord, His Illustriousness Count Vladomir Ivanovich, in this great crusade to cut out the cancer that is the Hag the Pale Monster once and for all. May the free men of the world march together to victory!”
Another anonymous source also confirmed that the next major push, led by more experienced members of the Sudomirian Coalition, will be aimed at retaking the ruins of Bonehill to create a fortified position and act as an allied HQ in the area. Bonehill, the lost Barony of Sudomir, has not been occupied by duchy forces since the end of the Sudomirian Civil War, 41 years after the signing of The Treaty. We hope to share more details with our loyal readers as this new campaign continues to unfold.
