☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
The moment you've all been waiting for... The Metrocon Adventure Ring Hooks and player sign-ups!
There is a sign-up link on this post, and the hooks will be in the comments. The hooks are also on the form, for your reference while signing up.
Metrocon Adventure Rings:
What you need to know: Follow the instructions on the links, player characters will be chosen using RNG (random number generation) and you will then be made aware of the selections. There will be 20 available slots with 5 back ups (in case of drop out) for each Metrocon Adventure Ring.
It is expected that if you sign up to play a character at metro-con for an adventure ring, then you MUST monster during another adventure ring (either at Metro con or Retreat). Day Time Convention Shifts Will Not Count.
Volunteer Shifts during the player dungeons will count as monstering for them.
The Retreat Adventure Rings will be posted at a later time.
Sign ups will close on July 10th and results will be posted on July 17th for both Dungeons and Volunteering.

Friday Night: Ofermægen
Since the northern conflict began, the pathways leading from Sudomir into Aeldirmann have been flooded with Vaelish refugees. More recently, refugees from the Skypass tragedy have taken these paths to flee to safer territories. Sudomirian protection of these passages had previously been a steady expectation. But with rumors of a major troop deployment elsewhere, these pathways saw a reduction in protective forces. As if planned, Aeldirmann forces were repositioned along the northwest border to fill those gaps. Whether it was a precaution or a planned movement between allies is unknown, but these forces began to report skirmishes with Faithless Orcs that seemed to be trying to sneak around the mountain border looking for forgotten passageways through the peaks and into the valleys below the Scar and into Sudomir.
Following Duke Xavier’s Last Ride, the Faithless seemed to leave the Aeldirmanians mostly alone for a while, both out of a sort of respect for the Duke and his Riders’ fierce resistance, and because they were reeling from the losses inflicted by them. But these creatures of the darkness grow restless, itching for a fight… and where better to rekindle the ashes of war than with an already weakened Sudomir, that now fights wars on 3 fronts?
However, this unofficial armistice has benefited Aeldirmann too, allowing for the new Duchess to accept significantly more refugees from her troubled western neighbor. Standing in defense of Sudomir could risk not just the lives of those that go to strike down this threat, but also the lives of many of her innocent subjects that may fall victim to a renewed conflict with Threskmar.
But Rickshires do not back down from a fight, no self respecting Aeldirmanian would. And so, at the Duchess’ behest, the forces of Aeldirman will show the Faithless Orcs that being part of a Kingdom means protecting your allies when they are at their lowest, with haste and with overwhelming force. Sudomir requires aid in this fight, and Aeldirmann will answer.
(This dungeon will take place on Friday night of MetroCon 2026. This dungeon will involve heavy combat in low-light conditions, so players should bear this in mind.)
